Our Story
Serving your favorite tea and fast food
Chaishq Café started soon after the COVID Pandemic's First Wave in January 2021, selling several flavors of Kulhad Chai as well as continental and youth-friendly menu items. As the name CHAISHQ implies, CHAI SE ISHQ is the tagline, because we are tea enthusiasts. We chose a place near Chandigarh University, where most students lived in PGs and there were gyms and hospitals nearby. We began this brand with high moral values. By providing fully hygienic cuisine in a lovely air-conditioned setting at a very affordable price. We began this firm with funds from our savings and some from relatives, and we began with only the minimal necessities in just three lacs Indian rupees.
About Owner's
As an IT expert with 18 years of management and IT experience, Mr. Harsh had a dream to launch his own business. After completion of his B.E. in computer science, Mr. Harsh continued to work in the side industries of tutoring, website creation, and computer hardware support, among others. He launched his tech-focused YouTube channel in 2016 and amassed 100,000 subscribers before winning YouTube's Silver Play Button. Yet he was constantly reminded that a core and fully developed business was what he had dreamed of rather than this. That is why, in January 2021, shortly after COVID First Wave, Mr. Harsh and Mrs. Shweta Sharma, Co-Founder, opened the first dine-in café and named it Chaishq. •Chai se ishq•
